Secondary school life...

OMG... I can't believe how stressful it got, and it just gets worse they say...
Its coming close to only the mid-year exams and it feels like and sounds like i'm a seconday 4 student in a mainstream school going for O levels... I mean i have tons of tests piling up and we are forced to have last minute revision for my future. I mean its like i will be staying late till at least 1a.m. everyday from now on...
First time i got a B3 for maths this year and i am really disappointed, I supoosed to get full marks! Careless as usual... Promise not to give up! I really need to do well... Science and Math program here i come!!!

Ok jokes aside...

Amongst all, my music smart was the strongest.
I was actually rather surprised for i thought i would be kinaesthetic but instead i am music smart :).
I realise how important music is to everyone, a different song can fill one with hope, desire, passion and even change your mood entirely. Music is the song of life itself and is also the plays a part in death. Everything is somehow tied to music as music is tied to everything else.
Music is our hope, our soul and our feelings all composed into a 4 minute or so song, it tells how someone feels or what he thinks might happen. Music is everything

Walter Moers' Zamonia collection: The Alchemaster's Apprentice (Book 4)

Forgot about this the previous year!
One of the better writers I have read from, this story was thrilling throughout and was slightly more on the thriller side compared to his previous books in his Zamonia collection.
It starts of with Echo the Crat (a cat gifted with the ability to speak any language and learn things very quickly) and how he was thrown to the streets. His previous mistress died from an unknown disease and he was therefore left without a home to live in. He survives many hardships on the streets until he was given the deal of a lifetime by an alchemaster by the name Ghoolian.
Echo was asked to sign a contract which stated that he would be allowed free lodging and delicacies cooked by Ghoolian himself for a month but after that, he would be asked to donate his fats to Ghoolian (which means a painful and horrific way to die).
Echo goes through many adventures and meets many new friends who ultimately help him and change the course of his fate significantly. This is a fantastic book and really a fantastic fantasy book in a land called Zamonia. A really great book that lives up to the genre fantasy, a book as great as any book related to Lord of the Rings. A definite must read.
